What this is
A Mexican nonprofit Spanish school in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Yucatan, pairing language classes with Maya cultural immersion - cenote visits, jungle bike tours, kayaking, Cobá and Tulum site tours, and exchanges with local students.
Families stay with a host family, get three meals a day, and attend 12 hours of Spanish per week per learner. The program runs year-round on Sunday-to-Saturday weeks, with package rates from $3,325 for a family of three. Minimum age is 8. Na'atik Language & Culture Institute is a US 501(c)(3) operating since 2010.
