ArcticTerns
Traveling worldschooling community with structured programming
What this is
ArcticTerns is a traveling worldschooling community that runs structured programming in different locations throughout the year. In 2026, they're offering sessions in two distinct settings:
Playa del Carmen, Mexico (May 3–20, 2026) — A Caribbean coast session where kids attend programming while parents work or explore the Riviera Maya. Playa del Carmen offers warm weather, affordable living, and easy access to cenotes, ruins, and beaches.
Bansko, Bulgaria (August 2–29, 2026) — A summer mountain edition in one of Europe's most popular digital nomad towns. Bansko sits at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, with hiking, hot springs, and a surprisingly robust coworking scene for a town its size.
ArcticTerns has built a following in the worldschooling community through consistent programming across multiple countries.
