Farmhouse family stay with 12 acres of olive groves in Andalucia
Ubuntu Worldschool
Nature-based sessions on farms and in villages in Cantabria in partnership with PAS Rural Coliving
What this is
Tucked into the green Pasiego Valleys of Cantabria in northern Spain, Ubuntu Worldschool is a nature-based program run in collaboration with PAS Rural Coliving. The setting is distinctly rural — artisanal cheese farms, ceramic workshops, organic orchards, and the Cabárceno wildlife park are all part of the programming landscape. It's 25 minutes from the beach and 35 minutes from Santander, so you're not isolated, but you are very much in the countryside.
Family housing is included as part of the experience — you live on-site at the rural coliving space alongside other participating families. The program includes structured childcare and activities for kids, coworking space for parents, and community events that bring both together. It's run by Espacio Ubuntu, an NGO-style education organization, and the sessions are designed for families who want to combine productive work time with an immersive, hands-on learning experience for their children.
