What this is
A two-week creative course at RUFA, the Rome University of Fine Arts, for secondary school students 16 and up. Students draw, paint, design and photograph their way through Rome, taught in English in groups of up to 20.
The 60-hour program covers figure drawing and painting, a sustainability design workshop where the group builds a futuristic 3D city, and photography that becomes a digital portfolio of Rome. Guided museum and monument visits are included. Classes run weekdays from 9 am to 3 or 4 pm, with sessions June 21 - July 3 and July 5 - 16, 2027. Students need B1/B2 English; families arrange their own housing in Rome.
Best fit for creative older teens whose family is summering in Rome.
