One of Europe's oldest summer camps — family-run since 1955 in the Italian Alps
About this program
One of Europe's oldest continuously operating summer camps — family-run since 1955 in the Italian Alps near Bergamo. Camp Sancelso offers English immersion alongside alpine nature activities for children ages 6–17, in a genuine international environment that's been welcoming kids from around the world for 70 years.
Two-week sessions run through the summer at approximately €900–1,200 per session. The setting is mountain countryside — hiking, swimming, outdoor games, and campfires rather than screens and schedules. The family ownership and seven decades of continuous operation give this place a warmth and consistency that newer programs can't replicate. Bergamo is served by Milan Bergamo airport (Orio al Serio), one of the main budget airline hubs in northern Italy.
