What this is
A half-day, drop-off Spanish day camp at Playa Tamarindo, Costa Rica — run by ISLS, the Institute for Spanish Language Studies, since 1992.
Kids ages 6 to 13 spend Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm in Spanish classes, with an optional afternoon surf add-on. Sessions run year-round in blocks of 1 to 9 weeks, with weekly start dates. Tuition starts at $375 a week for the Spanish program; the surf add-on tracks separately at $260 a week. Lodging is arranged separately — ISLS can refer apartments, hotels, or homestays.
Best fit for families spending a stretch in Tamarindo who want daily Spanish classes for the kids.
