Combo programs run 3 - 6 weeks across both countries.

What this is

Family Spanish immersion split between Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica and Cuenca, Ecuador — parallel classes by age band, so everyone from infants to adults gets a level-appropriate track.

A winter session in Costa Rica starts in February, and summer sessions run from late June through August, Ecuador first and Costa Rica after. Combos linking both countries run three to six weeks. Spanish instruction is 10 or 20 hours a week — your choice — and families live with a host family. Common Ground International was founded in 2001 by two Colorado educators.
