What this is

A week of surfing and camping on Somo Beach in Cantabria, run by the Escuela Cántabra de Surf, which has hosted kids' surf camps here since 1991.

Campers ages 10–17, at any level, sleep in tents in the school's own area of the Somo y Loredo campsite, with full board, a pool and 24-hour monitors. Choose the normal camp, with two hours of surf a day, or the intensive, with four. Afternoons bring activities and excursions, and the final Sunday ends with a championship. Weeks run from late June to August 1, mostly Sunday to Sunday. All gear is provided; campers bring a sleeping bag.
