What this is

Week-long adventure camps from a Hamburg-based operator with more than 20 years of running camps, built around two big German sites: Walsrode in the Lüneburger Heide and Regen in the Bavarian Forest.

Summer weeks there take ages 7–17. Spring and autumn weeks, plus the Sauerland, Mölln, Costa Brava and Finland camps, start at 10; the English camp on Amrum is for 13–17. At Walsrode, days mean high ropes, lake swimming, canoeing, archery and creative workshops. Kids sleep in tents or cabins with 24/7 supervision and full board, for one or two weeks.

Best fit for families who want a structured week or two of outdoor camp in Germany, with beach and Nordic options for older kids.
