BetterTogether
Vibrant community of traveling families in Vietnam and Spain
What this is
A vibrant community for traveling families with young children (ages 3–9), run by Daniela Romero and her husband Fernando. BetterTogether operates in two- to three-week blocks with family housing included, so you're not just dropping into a program — you're joining a small, intentional community for the session. The programming is play-based and community-centered, with a focus on creativity, nature, and social connection.
Phu Quoc, Vietnam — The home base. A tropical island off the southern coast of Vietnam with beaches, night markets, and a growing expat community. In 2026, sessions run in May (1st–15th), then again from late October through December with back-to-back blocks (Oct 23–Nov 7, Nov 15–30, Dec 6–20). The Le Forest Resort area is popular with participating families.
Granada, Spain — A summer European edition in one of Andalucia's most beautiful cities. The Alhambra, the Albaicín neighborhood, and the Sierra Nevada mountains provide the backdrop. July 1–30, 2026.
BetterTogether has been featured on the Wander Worldschool Podcast and has built a loyal following among families with younger kids. Daniela and Fernando also run occasional pop-ups in Osaka, Japan. Coworking space is available for parents during programming hours.
