What this is

The day option at Préfleuri International Alpine School, a boarding school at 1,200 m just outside Villars-sur-Ollon in the Swiss Alps. Kids 3–14 join the summer camp on weekdays, 9:00 to 18:00, and head home each evening.

Mornings follow the boarders' program: a bilingual French-English kindergarten for ages 3–4, workshops or classes from 5, and English or French language classes or academic support from 6. Afternoons are sports and excursions, with equipment and the camp uniform included. The day camp runs late June through early August, in stays of two to six weeks; ages 3–5 finish at 16:30.

A turn-key choice for families spending part of the summer in Villars who want structured mornings and active afternoons.
