What this is

A drop-off Mandarin immersion day camp in Shanghai's French Concession, run by GoEast Mandarin since 2012.

Kids ages 9 to 17 split into three age bands and pick the Half-Day Academic Booster (9:00 - 12:00) or the Full-Day Cultural Adventure (9:00 - 16:00), mixing Chinese class with kung fu, calligraphy, paper cutting, bamboo weaving, and museum visits. Sessions run across summer and winter - June 15, June 29, July 13, August 3 starts, and again November 30, December 21, January 4, January 18 - with pricing from RMB 6,500 for a half-day two-week early bird.

Best fit for traveling families parking in Shanghai for a season who want their kids in classrooms with kung fu and calligraphy alongside the language drills.
