30-day worldschooling sessions in Luxor, Egypt
What this is
A 30-day worldschooling program on the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt — one of the most historically rich places on earth. Run by Liana Zanin, a Swiss educator who lives with her adopted Egyptian family on the Luxor Westbank, this program immerses children in ancient and living Egyptian culture simultaneously. The Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon are not field trip destinations here — they're the neighborhood.
The program runs during the cooler months, October through April, and is designed to be accessible and non-religious. Families arrange their own accommodation on the Westbank (guesthouses are plentiful and affordable) and drop their children off for daily programming. Liana has built a legitimate presence across worldschooling directories and podcasts, and this program has a track record of repeat families returning season after season.
If your family is drawn to history, archaeology, and deep cultural immersion — and you're comfortable with a destination that's adventurous but not polished — Egyptian Adventures is one of the most unique worldschooling experiences available anywhere.
