Private French immersion for families in a Sancerre chateau, Loire Valley
Cham Kids
Mountain camping adventures for kids from Chamonix's professional guide association
What this is
Run by the legendary Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix — one of the world's oldest mountaineering guide associations, founded in 1821 — Cham Kids brings generational expertise in mountain safety and outdoor education to young adventurers.
The program is remarkably flexible: you can book single days, weekly sessions, or multi-week stays. Groups are kept intentionally small — just 4 to 8 kids with a qualified mountain guide — so your child gets personalized attention and progression. Activities include rafting, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, orienteering, and unique experiences like husky encounters in the high mountains. The camp also offers overnight options if you want to try something more immersive.
Ages 4–17. Pricing is €43–150 per day depending on activity and group size — so you pay only for the days you use. Chamonix is accessible from Geneva airport (about 90 minutes) or Annecy (about 2 hours).
